Valentine's Dinner in Wilmington, North Carolina
17-year old Emily Johnson organized a fundraising dinner on Valentine's Day for her entire church! Not only did they have a great evening and fellowship, but they raised $750 total to help the people in Meto and Bundibugyo through the Kids for Kids project. How awesome is that - a 17-year old that organizes a fundraising dinner with such a great outcome?
Change for Change in Dripping Spring, Texas
The idea was simple - the impact big: The youth group of the Community Fellowship in Dripping Spring, Texas raised $650 by collecting change. They simply put a piggy bank out in their church, opened it a few months later, and out came a whole lot of money they donated to Integrity Worldwide!
Kids give their Christmas money for kids in Africa
On Christmas morning in 2008, the Scotch family asked the Lord what they were thankful for in 2008. The answer was Deut. 15:11 "There will never cease to be poor in the land. You shall open wide your hand to your brother, to the needy and to the poor, in your land." Instead of just telling each other what they were thankful for in 2008, they wanted to give a gift that would last. So, the entire family decided to donate to Integrity Worldwide and the kids alone gave $279 of their own Christmas money that they had gotten the night before to buy goats, mosquito nets, or seeds. An incredible story, thank you so much!
Worship Night Fundraiser in Luebeck, Germany
Stephan Mitt and Daniel Mundt organized a worship night to tell people about Integrity Worldwide, to pray for Africa, and to raise money. A 12-member band supported them that night, and it was later relayed that it was the biggest worship event ever organized in their church. Enough money was raised to buy 120 chickens that we later distributed to happy families in Uganda and Kenya.
30 Hour Fundraising-Fast in Malverne, New York
The youth group of the Cathedral Christ of the Intercessor fasted for 30 hours in order to raise money to contribute to our Kids for Kids program. Thirty kids came together the week before Christmas and raised a total of $14,100.00 from friends, families, and church members! We are so proud of these kids, and their efforts to help in such a creative way!
A small jar full of change for a big impact in the kingdom
Barbara Key from Birmingham, Alabama "happened" to read the parable of the talents one day. Later that day, while digging in the back of her closet, she found a small jar full of change. It had been in there so long it was dusty. She realized that she was just like the servant who "laid away the coin in a piece of cloth...". She cashed in the coins and put a check in the mail to Integrity asking us to invest her few coins for our Master! Her letter states "One of the many things that excites me about what you are doing is that just a few dollars can go a long way. New glasses. A bag of seed. A goat. A net."
