Seeds Of Hope
Just a small bag of seed can bring change and give hope...
Through the Seeds of Hope Program Integrity Worldwide is taking steps to relieve the pain and suffering many people around the world experience, as a result of starvation and malnutrition. We believe we can all be "active" in the sowing of seeds to combat the devastating problems caused by food shortages and lack of basic nutrition.
In Uganda, IWW is supplying a group of women with rice seed as part of the Women's Rice Initiative. In Kenya, IWW is providing seeds like maize and beans as part of the seed project there. The benefits for the people that receive seeds from the Seeds of Hope Program are of big impact. Entire families can:
- Have sufficient food to eat
- Establish their own small business
- Provide income for their families
- Become self-sustaining
